Trainers / Coaches/ Helpers

We are always looking for help, so if you are interested in volunteering to assist our younger members in Surf Lifesaving training, please get in touch! If you wish to progress to achieving relevant qualifications, the club is able to assist in that process as well. Please don’t feel that you need a wealth of knowledge to begin with as this is not necessary. You will be mentored by a qualified coach, and you will learn as time goes by………..honestly!

IRB Boat Crew

The Club uses an Arancia inshore rescue boat (IRB) which was designed and manufactured in New Zealand. It is a 3.8 metre inflatable with a 30hp Tohatsu engine. It is a fast, light, maneuverable surf rescue craft and suitable for extreme conditions.

If you are interested in training as a member of our IRB crew, please contact our boat Captain Tim Thomas on 07968 089779.
